This box was made for a friend to gift to his fiancée as a wedding present. The box is made of aromatic red cedar, and the painting on top was handmade by Mrs. DuBois. The inside of the box was also handmade, there are compartments for various jewelry sitting on top of a cushioned base.
This is a cremains box made for a very important person in my life. This build was made from tiger maple and goncalo, brass handles and was ultimately glued shut. I used Tru-Oil gunstock finish on this box, which really helped bring out the stripes in the tiger maple.
